Event Details
* We, the interns at UHTC, visited R.N. Gandhi School to conduct an awareness session for teachers.
* The session focused on antimicrobial resistance and its growing public health impact.
* We explained what antibiotics are and emphasized their rational and appropriate use.
* The do’s and don’ts of antibiotic usage and the harmful effects of misuse were discussed.
* We also highlighted the consequences of antibiotic overuse leading to resistance.
* Additionally, teachers were informed about UHTC services available in their locality, which can be availed at a nominal cost of ₹50.
