About

Obstetrics and Gynaecology is a medical speciality dealing with two aspects i.e care of women during pregnancy and childbirth and in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of female reproductive system.The subspecialty of this subject involves female adolescent health, contraception, reproductive medicine, gynecological malignancies and Urogynaecology.

Teaching Activity

We provide training to Undergraduate as well as Postgraduate degree students. Their training involves both theory and practicals. The PG residents gain experience in the field by assisting and performing in more complex procedures like C-sections and hysterectomies. They also get adequate exposure in laparoscopic surgeries.

Hospital Services

Our department is adequately staffed and fully equipped for entire range of Obstetrics and Gynecological surgeries including Cancer Surgeries and Endoscopic Surgeries. We are having the specialty OPDs for high-risk pregnancy, oncology, menopause, infertility and minimal invasive surgery
