  • Actual working experience in Histology Laboratory (Slide preparation and Tissue staining), Research Lab. Dissection Hall and embalming techniques for preservation of cadaver, Disposal methods of Biomedical waste, Ethical aspect of cadaver.
  • Seminars, Case based learning, Powerpoint presentations, Journal Reviews, Paper and poster presentations in conferences, Research paper Publications, Research projects, Dissertation

  • Course content is delivered by expert and committed faculty which is in full strength as per NMC norms.
  • Adequate infrastructure Facilities – (lecture halls, specialized departmental laboratories, library and hostel) ensure student comfort and smooth delivery of course content.
  • The Department of Anatomy of K. J. Somaiya Medical College, runs a successful voluntary body donation program in the community and accepts voluntarily donated cadavers under the Bombay Anatomy Act of 1949. It receives around 8-10 cadavers per year. As a result there are enough cadavers for training of postgraduate students as well as for conducting workshops in the department
