Key Information


The primary teaching-learning methods employed are didactic lectures, hands-on practical sessions (for non clinical subjects) and bedside clinics during subject-wise postings in various sections of the hospital like wards and OPDs (for clinical subjects).

  • Course content is delivered by expert and committed faculty

  • Clinical Postings in the K J Somaiya multispecialty charitable hospital with a good number of patients ensures adequate exposure and experience in treating a variety of ailments

Program Outcome

An MBBS graduate can opt for the following career paths ahead

  • Work as a general practitioner
  • Pursue further education in various medical specialties and related streams like medical research, hospital administration and clinical trials
  • Work as a medical officer in government and private organizations
