Dr Vidya Shetty holds a postgraduate degree(M.Sc ) in Medical Microbiology and Ph.D in Medical Microbiology from T.N Medical College and B.Y.L.Nair Hospital.She has teaching experience of 27 years .She is currently working as Associate Professor in K.J.Somaiya Medical College ,Hospital,Mumbai.
She has presented more than 30 papers in State and National Conferences.She is a Life member of Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists and Association of Clinical Biochemists and Microbiologists.
She is a internal and external examiner of MBBS, PGDMLT, BPTh, M.Sc Medical Microbiology, BDS, B.Sc Nursing.
She has successfully completed the CXI Internal Auditor and qality Management Systems Course as per ISO 15189-2012.She has completed the Basic and Revised course in Medical Education Technologies conducted by GSMC-KEMH.She is a Reviewer of International Journalof Wound Sciences.
