Dr. Bindoo Jadhav is Professor & Head of the Department of Psychiatry at K. J. Somaiya Medical College & Hospital. She has done her M.D. in Psychiatry from Seth G.S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital affiliated to Mumbai University in 1996. She completed her DPM (Diploma in Psychological Medicine) in 1995. She passed MBBS from LTM Medical College and Sion Hospital in 1995. She has a keen interest in the field of deaddiction and her area of special interest is Geriatric Psychiatry. She is actively involved in research activities in the department and is a member of the Ethics Committee. She has about 30 research publications in various journals. She has clinical experience of 26 years & teaching experience of about 20 years.
