Aim to study the variant heads of biceps brachii muscle supplied by the median nerve. 100 upper limbs of 50 donated embalmed cadavers (45 males & 5 females) of age group ranging from 70 to 80 years were dissected in the department of Anatomy at K. J. Somaiya Medical College, Sion, Mumbai, India. Variant heads of Biceps brachii muscle supplied by the Median nerve were observed in 2 specimens. The vascular pattern in the arm was also observed. The photographs of the variation of the formation of median nerve were taken for proper documentation. The variant heads of Biceps brachii muscle supplied by the Median nerve was observed in 2 specimens. The findings were noted after thorough and meticulous dissection of the arm. The supernumerary head was taking origin from the anterolateral surface of the shaft of the humerus. The supernumerary head joined with the other two heads and form a common tendon which got inserted into the radial tuberosity of the radius and bicipital aponeurosis. The musculocutaneous nerve was absent and all the muscles of the front of the arm were supplied by median nerve. The supernumerary head was also supplied by the median nerve. There was no associated arterial variation seen in the specimen. Topographical Anatomy and variations of the bicephs brachii muscle is clainically important for surgeon, Orthopaedician, Radiologist and Anaesthetist performing pain management therapies
