ASTAVAKRA’ is a newly built state of art accommodation facility on the Ayurvihar campus for the MBBS students & Residents pursuing post-graduation at KJ Somaiya Medical College & Hospital.
This facility is situated on a sprawling 20000 Sq.mt area and has 12 floors adorned by a beautiful garden area at the entrance. It offers rooms which are well ventilated and naturally lighted with basic amenities / furnishings. The arrangement of accommodation for males and females is independent on a sharing basis.
It has an in-house cafeteria and an excellent mess service catering the varied needs of the students. The facility not only has recreation areas but also study/reading areas. This facility is under CCTV surveillance and security service 24X7. The allotment of accommodation is under the administration team and the general campus management is governed by the warden.
The request for accommodation shall be made online during the admission process. The accommodation shall be allotted with the condition that the student agrees to abide by the rules and regulation of the facility. Accommodation will be provided on first come first serve, and subject to the availability. The facility shall be a safe haven to the aspiring students pursuing the field of medicine/ health services as it is housed in the medical college and hospital campus and well connected to the other parts of the Mumbai city.
