- Abstract
I would first and foremost like to thank Dr Srijit Das for taking such a keen interest in the paper. As to the flaws pointed out by him, I would like to discuss them one by one. The study was done on 150 dry humeri from the preserved collection of bones in the Department of Anatomy, St John’s Medical College, Bangalore. The bones were taken from cadavers donated to the College over the years. The details of donations are kept as records in the department and the majority of them (139/150) belonged to South Indians. So it was safe to presume that the humeri belong to South Indians and hence the study was done as a comparison with other studies.
