A health talk on rabies was conducted at PHC, Angaon in order to raise awareness about rabies. No. of Beneficiaries- 10  since there are multiple dog bite patients who present to the OPD. A flipchart was used to help raise awareness. Awareness was spread regarding dog bite case if experienced or witnessed and what an individual should do or not do in case of a dog bite Causation of disease, and animals that harbor the virus Signs and symptoms of rabies Initial measures of wound care were taught Importance of vaccination and adherence to the vaccine schedule was advised Consequences of improper wound care and home remedies were explained. The talk was received well among the patients in the OPD.
